Nike has introduced three new shoe packs for kids with on and off-pitch options inspired by the wildly popular Nike Hypervenom performance boot. Again, that space where football moves over into lifestyle – always a great achievement.

Young athletes around the world who love the game of football want to celebrate that passion 24/7. On the pitch and off they want to proudly wear the colors of their heroes and their favorite teams. To give these young fans of the beautiful game a special way to display their commitment and style, Nike has created a special Hypervenom Collection that includes three packs of footwear for young athletes.

Each pack in the Hypervenom Collection features the lead colorway of the adult Hypervenom introduced at the same time. Every pack will include the Nike Hypervenom Phelon (FG) cleat; the Nike Free Hypervenom; and either the Nike Air Max 1, Air Max 90, or Air Max Command. Each versatile pack gives kids the ability to shine on the pitch, in the classroom and on the playground.

The first edition of the Hypervenom Collection is the Nike White Hypervenom Pack. The powerful white colorway is currently being worn on the pitch by some of the game’s very best players, including Brasilian and FC Barcelona offender Neymar.

Nike designers drew inspiration from the energy, atmosphere, and visuals of New Year’s Eve celebrations in Brasil when creating the look of the White Pack. White is the traditional color worn by Brasilians on New Year’s Eve. White is also an expressive color choice among footballers and is currently the second most selected hue on NIKEiD. The color contrast splashed along the Swoosh of the boots loosely mimics the way New Year’s fireworks cascade through the night sky.

The first edition of the Nike Hypervenom Collection for young athletes, the Nike White Hypervenom Pack, is available Dec.18 exclusively via nike.com and select retailers.

AFC Bournemouth are riding high at the moment, competing for a place in the Premier League as well as a chance to get to the quarter final of the league cup.

With an hugely competitive game ahead of them in the shape of Liverpool, AFC Bournemouth (one of the most creative clubs out there) have enlisted the help of two names we’re big fans of to help produce an utter worldie of a matchday programme.

In a fitting tribute to a home town favourite and arguably one of the world’s most exciting players PUMA has designed a special edition of the evoSPEED Tricks.

PUMA designers sat down with offensive midfielder Marco Reus to discuss what motivates and moves him in the world of football and beyond. He discussed “hope” and its impact on children around the world. The colours are those of his current club, Borussia Dortmund. The two colours represent the duality of his personality – the man and the player.

Here’s some behind the scenes shot from what looks to be the scamping process.

A slice of detail that must be shared is that proceeds from the sales of this limited edition boot will support the Elterntreff Dortmund e . V. a hospital specialised in treating children with cancer in Dortmund as initiated by Marco. Serious kudos for that.

The execution features a unique graphic on each side of the boot inspired by the BVB affiliated children’s charity Marco is particularly passionate about and reflects his sense of positivity. On the medial side is an illustration made up of inspirational typography using words in many different languages, depicting an adult hand holding a child’s hand. The lateral side features a subtle repeat pattern representing the 6000 children who are patients at Dortmund Hospital every year.

The boot has design rooted to its core and it is a great addition to one hell of a collection, presented by PUMA in 2014.

The first piece sees Gareth Bale walk us through the perfect knuckleball using the adidas miCoach Smart Ball. The Smart Ball has sensors that measures the speed and flight of your strike, a feature that allows players to improve their technique with practice. In addition adidas is giving fans the chance to win the miCoach Smart Ball that Gareth used in the tutorial. You can see our features on that here. It’s one hell of an innovative product.

Following that, Alvaro Arbeloa gives a tour of Real Madrid’s player residence. It’s rare access to the areas of the club where Los Blancos relax, there’s a cinema, games room, swimming pool and more. Not a bad life!

Nacho, explains what it’s like growing up at Real Madrid. After joining the club at just ten years of age he is the perfect person to give advice to any young player looking to make the very most of their talent.
