Pompey remembers ‘The Pals’ // good on ’em.

No need for any elaborate marketing campaign here.

In a tremendous mark of respect, Portsmouth FC have released their new home kit for 2014/15 on the anniversary that Great Britain entered into the First World War. As a mark of respect, the shirt contains the name of all those members of the 14th & 15th (Portsmouth) Battalions Hampshire regiment who were known as the ‘Pompey Pals’, who lost their lives in the war.
