You’ve really got to love the ethos behind the New York City FC brand. The basic premise: create a simple site that offers fans the chance to design the NYCFC logo based on certain parameters.
It’s been an enormous success on so many levels. Not only creating a buzz around the brand but stirring up the imagination of potential fans and uniting them (sorry City fans) with the aim of coming up with a collective logo all will love.
So after whittling it down to a choice of two. It went to the vote – again, passing the decision back to fans.
Before you know it, they’ll be selling branded merchandise…oh. Wait…
