adidas PR Shoot 06/02/2014

So there we have it folks. The world’s first knitted football boot.

All with the aim of increasing comfort and flexibility, the boot is a limited edition number – RRP is £220 (ouch!) and goes on sale from 17th March.

To be fair, it sounds pricey but if you can afford it then why not. Good on ‘em too, part of the boot is constructed without any wastage of material so it makes it the brands most sustainable football boot. Nice little touch – every little helps, eh!

High production values, smart design and an ethical approach – oh and good old Suarez!

I like ‘em.

3nil.

In their own words:

First established in 2011, 3nil is a new football culture-inspired line of clothing. Dan Gribbon is a football enthusiast and designer from Melbourne, Australia. With a family who emigrated there from Europe in the 1960’s, Dan was born into a football loving life. As a boy watching countless tapes of as many matches as he could with his grandfather, his passion for the game grew to the fanatical stage it is at today. After studying design he wanted to mix his new acquired skillset set with his passion for the game. So in late 2009 he came up with the idea for a company that should mix football with design.

3nil was born.

In ours:

Perfection.

Both prints and clothing these guys are doing is right on the money: http://www.threenil.com/

The relationship between pepsi and football has always been a bit more glam than substance in the past.

All that comes to mind when I think of the two is good old Becks waltzing in to a cowboy bar and the next thing you know they’re all booting the ball about. Kinda.

This, pardon the pun is refreshing from Pepsi, the art work is great, the artists are just that and overall, Pepsi have done something damn good here.
